Fire hydrant

FOUR SEASONS PARK Splash Pad

Four Seasons Park Splash Pad is a basic splash pad feature a red fire hydrant.

The splash pad is located in a shaded, older park.  The park has two playstrustures – a toddler structure and swing set, and a structure and swing set for older children.  There is a paved path that runs around the park which is perfect for young cyclists and bladers.

OUELLETTE PARK Splash Pad

Ouellette Park Splash Pad is a brand new splash pad in Orleans named after the Ouellette family. This one is so new, they haven’t finished putting down the sod yet. It’s not on the city of Ottawa splash pad list at the time of writing.

Being a new park, everything is pretty awesome.  The splash pad has loops, a tall archway, water cannons, and fountain sprays.  It’s a large pad so many children could happily play at one time.

The park has a huge gazebo area with many picnic tables.  There are a few playstructure and several interesting climbing structures to explore.  There is also a freshly paved path that runs around and through the park perfect for little cyclists and bladers.  There is a small forested area on one side of the park and the paths run through the forest. read more

MANOR PARK Splash Pad

Manor Park Splash Pad has a fire hydrant, a tall aquadome post, and some ground sprinklers.  The park itself has a nice atmosphere – there is plenty of shade and places to eat, a few structures, and a community centre that had public washrooms open at the time of our visit.

The City of Ottawa open data says this splash pad is only open on weekends, but it worked fine on a Friday morning.

SIR WILFRED LAURIER PARK Splash Pad

A nice little green space in the middle of Sandy Hill. Just run through those three yellow rings and you’ll get completely drenched. (If you wait until the splash pad timer runs out, then you can fill up some water buckets from the dribbling water spouts on the ring.)
