FOUNTAINHEAD PARK Splash Pad

The new splashpad at Fountainhead Place park is a nice little modern water park.

It only has a few ground sprinklers, but it’s good enough for thirsty dogs and to cool down on a hot summer day. There’s a play structure nearby so you can run back and forth between the two.

FAIRLEA PARK Splash Pad

A nice modern splash pad at Fairlea Park near Walkley and Heron road. This one has a red archway to run through and a water cannon to squirt your friends.

A few families stoped by to splish splash as we played in the water park. It has an older play structure nearby when you need to take a break from the water.

PLOUFFE PARK Splash Pad

Plouffe Park Splash Pad is a fun urban splashpad located in a park area behind Plant Recreation Centre.  The splash pad is fairly large and features several fun structures like a rainbow arch.

The splash pad has some shade and is located near a gazebo structure.  There are also two playstructures in the park.  There are public washrooms available in the recreation centre.

MORRISON PARK Splash Pad

Morrison Park Splash Pad is a simple pad featuring a tall aquadome and three small sprays.  It took us a few tries to get the aquadome to turn on.

The park itself is quite nice.  It’s shaded and has swings, a gazebo, a playstructure, and plenty of room to sit.

CUMMINGS PARK Splash Pad

A pretty basic splash pad at Cummings Park, but the painted flower around the water jet makes a nice touch.

MOUNTAIN MEADOWS Splash Pad

Mountain Meadows Splash Pad is a basic splash pad perfect for younger splashers.  It features two gushing fountains, a gentle water tunnel, and a spray cannon.

There are two playstructures a short walk from the splash pad.  There is a smaller toddler structure with swings and a larger structure with big kid swings.  The trees are younger so there isn’t a lot of shade yet.
