SHEFFIELD GLEN PARK Splash Pad

Sheffield Glen Park Splash Pad is a simple pad in a large, older park.  The start button turns on three very powerful fountain sprays that shoot up and out into the pad.  The streams seem a bit off centre and most of the water goes to one side off the pad.

The park is quite spacious and shaded.  There is a playstructure and swing beside the splash pad.

FALLINGBROOK PARK Splash Pad

Fallingbrook Park Splash Pad is a newer pad whose main attraction is it’s two tall posts – a flower and a leaf.  The water pressure is fairly high and this small, shady pad is a nice place to get wet on a hot day.

The splash pad is next to a large park with a big hill and fields to run in, plenty of shade and places to sit, and a playstructure.  There is also a path that runs through the park for small cyclists and skaters.

NORTH VINEYARD PARK Splash Pad

North Vineyard Park Splash Pad is a basic splash pad with a unique structure – a tall post with a firefighter cutout.  (Which makes sense as the splash pad is right beside a fire station.)

There is plenty of shade, places to sit, and room to run at the park.  There are playstructures at the other end of the park; they are quite a distance from the splash pad.

It was a bit challenging to access this splash pad.  It’s not connected by pathways to the streets that surround the park.  We needed to park and walk on the main road to get to the pad. read more

DELORME PARK Splash Pad

Delorme Park Splash Pad is a newer splash pad whose main attraction is a tall post with three dumping buckets.  The water pressure is high and the cycle is long.  A surprisingly enjoyable pad.

The park has many attractions – a basketball court, a volleyball net, a hill slide, swings, and a playstructure.  There is plenty of shade as well.

This is  a park we will come back to visit again.

BANDMASTER PARK Splash Pad

Bandmaster Park Splash Pad is a new splash pad with an very interesting structure.  The pad’s main feature is something called an Aqualien Rainforest – a tall six post structure that has three central flower posts and three taller dumping flower posts that spill onto the shorter flowers.  It’s certainly a novel structure to play under and to admire.

Bandmaster is a spacious park with lots of room to run and a playstructure.

UPCOUNTRY PARK Splash Pad

Upcountry Park Splash Pad is a basic splash pad with some sprays, a jet, and a mister.

There is a playstructure at the park.
