DELORME PARK Splash Pad

Delorme Park Splash Pad is a newer splash pad whose main attraction is a tall post with three dumping buckets.  The water pressure is high and the cycle is long.  A surprisingly enjoyable pad.

The park has many attractions – a basketball court, a volleyball net, a hill slide, swings, and a playstructure.  There is plenty of shade as well.

This is  a park we will come back to visit again.

WALTER BAKER PARK Splash Pad

Walter Baker Park Splash Pad is a basic splash pad with a tall dome, a water cannon, and four fountain sprays.  The splash pad has some shade from the surrounding trees.

The draw of this pad is it’s location in beautiful Walter Baker Park.  There are two playstructures, an impressive hill to climb and play on, a beautiful pond to explore, and plenty of shade.

BANDMASTER PARK Splash Pad

Bandmaster Park Splash Pad is a new splash pad with an very interesting structure.  The pad’s main feature is something called an Aqualien Rainforest – a tall six post structure that has three central flower posts and three taller dumping flower posts that spill onto the shorter flowers.  It’s certainly a novel structure to play under and to admire.

Bandmaster is a spacious park with lots of room to run and a playstructure.

UPCOUNTRY PARK Splash Pad

Upcountry Park Splash Pad is a basic splash pad with some sprays, a jet, and a mister.

There is a playstructure at the park.

BILLY BISHOP Splash Pad

Billy Bishop Splash Pad is a simple pad with a tall dome, a water cannon, and some fountain sprays.  The sprays rotate on a cycle making it fun to splash around in different parts of the pad.  The splash pad is surrounded by bushes, giving it a nice secluded feel.

There is shade and a playstructure at the park.

WHITEHAVEN / GEORGE C BROWN PARK splash pad

George C. Brown Splash Pad opened in August of 2012.  It has some fun structures including one we haven’t seen at other pads – a large mushroom umbrella.

The park has plenty of shade and a playstructure.
