We have three words for Winterwood Park Splash Pad: holy water pressure! This newer splashpad has some standard features like a fire hydrant and tall aqua dome post, but what make the splash pad interesting is the incredible amount of water that blasts out if it’s structures. The aqua dome posts usually gently dome water out the top…this one blasted out. Similarly the usually medium sized fountain sprays were as tall as the surrounding trees. Impressive and definitely a way to get very wet.

SIEVERIGHT PARK Splash Pad
Sieveright Park Splash Pad is a basic splash pad with a short yellow post. When the button is pressed water mists out of all sides of the post at a high pressure. The water cycle is fairly short.
The park next to the pad has a playstructure.
MANOR PARK Splash Pad
Manor Park Splash Pad has a fire hydrant, a tall aquadome post, and some ground sprinklers. The park itself has a nice atmosphere – there is plenty of shade and places to eat, a few structures, and a community centre that had public washrooms open at the time of our visit.
The City of Ottawa open data says this splash pad is only open on weekends, but it worked fine on a Friday morning.
NAULT PARK Splash Pad
Nault Park Splash Pad is a fun splash pad whose main draw is two tall yellow flowers. The water cycles through the structures in various patterns making it fun to try to move around without getting wet.
The splash pad is located in a large fenced-in park. There are smooth newly paved paths circling around the park that are perfect for little cyclists. There is plenty of shade, places to sit, swings, and a few playstructures.
FALLINGBROOK PARK Splash Pad
Fallingbrook Park Splash Pad is a newer pad whose main attraction is it’s two tall posts – a flower and a leaf. The water pressure is fairly high and this small, shady pad is a nice place to get wet on a hot day.
The splash pad is next to a large park with a big hill and fields to run in, plenty of shade and places to sit, and a playstructure. There is also a path that runs through the park for small cyclists and skaters.
DELORME PARK Splash Pad
Delorme Park Splash Pad is a newer splash pad whose main attraction is a tall post with three dumping buckets. The water pressure is high and the cycle is long. A surprisingly enjoyable pad.
The park has many attractions – a basketball court, a volleyball net, a hill slide, swings, and a playstructure. There is plenty of shade as well.
This is a park we will come back to visit again.
