BLUEGRASS PARK Splash Pad

Bluegrass Park Splash Pad is a newer splash pad that features an aquadome, flower dumping buckets, and an arch.

The splash pad and the playstructure beside it don’t have much shade but there are trees around the periphery of the park that offer shade.  There is also a gazebo and swings at the park.

OUELLETTE PARK Splash Pad

Ouellette Park Splash Pad is a brand new splash pad in Orleans named after the Ouellette family. This one is so new, they haven’t finished putting down the sod yet. It’s not on the city of Ottawa splash pad list at the time of writing.

Being a new park, everything is pretty awesome.  The splash pad has loops, a tall archway, water cannons, and fountain sprays.  It’s a large pad so many children could happily play at one time.

The park has a huge gazebo area with many picnic tables.  There are a few playstructure and several interesting climbing structures to explore.  There is also a freshly paved path that runs around and through the park perfect for little cyclists and bladers.  There is a small forested area on one side of the park and the paths run through the forest. read more

CELEBRATION PARK Splash Pad

Celebration Park Splash Pad is a fun splash pad in a large park.  The splash pad has a long rotating cycle and the pad itself is fairly spacious.  The main structures are a spray loop, a spraying post, and a tall post with a bucket, flower, and pipe that rain water down on you.

The park has some shade but there is a gazebo beside the splash pad.  There are also swings and two playstructures to explore right beside the pad.

NAULT PARK Splash Pad

Nault Park Splash Pad is a fun splash pad whose main draw is two tall yellow flowers.  The water cycles through the structures in various patterns making it fun to try to move around without getting wet.

The splash pad is located in a large fenced-in park.  There are smooth newly paved paths circling around the park that are perfect for little cyclists.  There is plenty of shade, places to sit, swings, and a few playstructures.

PROVENCE PARK Splash Pad

Provence Park Splash Pad is a relatively new splash pad.  It has several interesting structures including an unusual yellow doorway arch.

There is a gazebo for shade and a few playstructures and climbing structures in the park.

CITIPLACE PARK Splash Pad

A new splash pad with some innovative structures and jets.  We were especially impressed with the Aqualien Power Spinner (aka cool spinning flower).

Although it’s a new park the city built a gazebo for shade.  There is also a play structure at this park.
