CELEBRATION PARK Splash Pad

Celebration Park Splash Pad is a fun splash pad in a large park.  The splash pad has a long rotating cycle and the pad itself is fairly spacious.  The main structures are a spray loop, a spraying post, and a tall post with a bucket, flower, and pipe that rain water down on you.

The park has some shade but there is a gazebo beside the splash pad.  There are also swings and two playstructures to explore right beside the pad.

BEACON HILL NORTH (or EASTVALE) Splash Pad

Beacon Hill North Splash Pad is a basic but fun splash pad in a lovely park.  The splash pad’s main feature is it’s two elephant cannons.  The city has also painted their logo on the concrete floor of the pad giving it a new, bright feel.

The park has a lovely gazebo, a community centre, swings, and several playstructure to explore.

WINTERWOOD PARK Splash Pad

We have three words for Winterwood Park Splash Pad:  holy water pressure!  This newer splashpad has some standard features like a fire hydrant and tall aqua dome post, but what make the splash pad interesting is the incredible amount of water that blasts out if it’s structures.  The aqua dome posts usually gently dome water out the top…this one blasted out.  Similarly the usually medium sized fountain sprays were as tall as the surrounding trees.  Impressive and definitely a way to get very wet. read more

GARDENWAY PARK Park Splash Pad

Gardenway Park Splash Pad is a newer pad whose main attraction is a tall green post with a dumping bucket and a spinning flower.  The water cycle is quite long and the pressure is high – this is a great place to get very, very wet.

Gardenway Park is quite large.  It’s an older park so there is plenty of shade and fields to run in.  There are swings and playstructures a short walk away from the splash pad.

We noticed there is also a great hill for tobogganing and an outdoor rink.  This is a park we’ll check out in the winter, too. read more

WALTER BAKER PARK Splash Pad

Walter Baker Park Splash Pad is a basic splash pad with a tall dome, a water cannon, and four fountain sprays.  The splash pad has some shade from the surrounding trees.

The draw of this pad is it’s location in beautiful Walter Baker Park.  There are two playstructures, an impressive hill to climb and play on, a beautiful pond to explore, and plenty of shade.

BILLY BISHOP Splash Pad

Billy Bishop Splash Pad is a simple pad with a tall dome, a water cannon, and some fountain sprays.  The sprays rotate on a cycle making it fun to splash around in different parts of the pad.  The splash pad is surrounded by bushes, giving it a nice secluded feel.

There is shade and a playstructure at the park.
