QUEENSWAY PARK Splash Pad

Queensway Park Splash Pad is a fun, simple splash pad.  It’s highlight is a tall structure with two dumping buckets.

Although the splash pad is simple, this park gets points for ambience.  The park is accessed by walking through a copse of trees which edge the park on two sides.  Once we were in the park we found it easy to forget we were so close to the Queensway.

BREWER PARK Splash Pad

Brewer Park Splash Pad is a unique two level splash pad.  The upper level features rotating cannons and sprays.  The lower level has dumping buckets and fountain sprays.

The park is a destination in itself.  There are four large playstructures to explore, plenty of shade and places to sit, and public bathrooms.  It’s a park to keep you entertained for hours.

CARDINAL CREEK VALLEY Splash Pad

Cardinal Creek Valley Splash Pad is a new pad in Orleans with some interesting structures.  The park is new enough that there is little shade at the park other than the gazebo structure.  There are many interesting and creative playstructures to explore at this park.

QUEENSWOOD HEIGHTS CENTENNIAL PARK Splash Pad

The splash pad at Queenswood Heights Centennial Park Splash is nice. There are two separate water play areas separated by some picnic tables under some tall trees.

One of the splashpads has two ground geysers, two water cannons, two really high shooting jets, followed by the five bells dumping tower.

The other splash pad is a smaller, circular water park with a single blue water tower and four ground sprinklers. We thought it would be an old school (wimpy) water post, but it’s actually not bad. read more
