CITIPLACE PARK Splash Pad

A new splash pad with some innovative structures and jets.  We were especially impressed with the Aqualien Power Spinner (aka cool spinning flower).

Although it’s a new park the city built a gazebo for shade.  There is also a play structure at this park.

BORDELEAU PARK Splash Pad

Updated: June 7, 2019

This splash pad is at the park right beside the Chinese Embassy and the Rideau River. There’s a play structure and tennis courts beside the splash pad.

We had fun at this splash pad. Really impressed with how high some of the ground water jets go. (They shoot higher than the water park structures.) The blue circle start button is on the ground right in the center of where all of the directional water jets are pointing at, so you’re bound to get wet.

They made it so the water naturally runs down the side, under a foot bridge, and into the river. Kinda cool. read more

HEATHERINGTON PARK Splash Pad

Heatherington Park Splash Pad is a fairly new pad in an older park.  The splash pad features a trio of dumping buckets, an arch, and a few sprays of water.

The park has a lot of shade, a gazebo for picnics, and some structures to play on.

CHAPMAN MILLS MAIN STREET PARK Splash Pad

Chapman Mills Main Street Park (West) Splash Pad is a new splash pad in Barrhaven with a unique structure – a green dragon!  The splash pad has a lot of jets and will get you wet for sure.

It’s a newer park so there is little shade.  There is a dragon themed playstructure beside the splash pad.

KILBIRNIE PARK Splash Pad

Kilbirnie Park Splash Pad is a newer splash pad in Barrhaven.  It’s main attractions are three dumping buckets, a yellow arch that mists, and five streams that spray at intervals.

There is a gazebo for shade and a playstructure at the park.

HUNTLEY CENTENNIAL (CARP) Splash Pad

Huntley Centennial Splash Pad is a new splash pad in Carp with many fun structures.  The cycle was quite long and it was easy to get very, very wet.  There is a gazebo for shade.
